First Annual Sunnyside School District Art Exhibit!

We put on a District wide art show...inspired by the Bellingham art walks!  Every school in the district brought art! Many of the schools performed as well!  (My camera got lost so I only have pictures that my Mom took, which of course all include me.  But I guess there are worse things at look at than me.)  Anyway, It was fantastic to see so much talent and art, all under one roof! It was wonderful to see these cute kiddos getting the recognition they deserve!  It was very uplifting, soothed my soul.

Some ladies whose help I could not have managed with out.
My parents and behind us, the little kiddo who won "Best of Show" from my school.  It's a whirling dervish...(not sure how you spell that)It's an ink painting.  Very hard for the kids to do, but when they do a good job... wow.  So worth it!

ceramic totem poles.  Uber fun project!  This is the first time I've done this project with my kiddos before.  I'm hoping for more interesting results next time.  These are seriously cute though.
Printmaking!  My favorite.  I'm addicted to buying my kids a million different colors of ink!

  1. Thosee are some great projects! I love the totem poles.

Hey, if you ever want a huge. blank canvas, I'm going to have a lot of empty walls in my new house! (o: I thought you might have some inspiration for my "garden-themed" guest/play room downstairs.
