Windy day

It was so windy last time we passed through the Gorge!  We stopped at Vista Point to play.  It was the kind of wind that held us up when we leaned against it and that pushed us back when we jumped.  It was also very fun to watch everyone else playing around in the wind, I think everyone was surprised at the ferocity of it.  It was delightful.

We ended with a hike up to Angel's Landing.  It is not a very long hike, but it was about all I could handle.  Even though I have been feeling so much better lately, my energy is still low and I still can't go more than two hours without eating.  As short as this hike was and despite the fact that we ate a meal during the hike, we were still cutting it too close. By the time we got into Hood River to eat, I was frantic for food.  Corey says that I was quite a spectacle in the restaurant. Demanding milk from the hostess as soon as I walked in the door, standing on the top rung of a bar stool demanding a menu and panicking when the appetizer failed to arrive within a minute.
I don't really know what he was talking about. It could have gotten much uglier than it did.
