Prosser Roads

The roads just across the highway from Prossor, in the Whitstrand area are some of the prettiest, most peaceful that I've found in this area. They never fail to make me feel good and the world seem right. Soft rolling hills, vineyards, orchards, the wheat fields, sagebrush and the SKY!  There are many beautiful sites in the world but the simple beauty of these roads feels like home.

With the beginning of a new chapter in my life, I feel like I can call the last chapter of my life done, but more than just done, I think of it as complete. I can now look over that complete chapter of my life, and I see that nothing is missing.  It had everything I needed.  Every adventure, every trial, every blessing and lesson that I needed.   During those five years in Sunnyside and the recent changes in my life, I had no idea were my life was going and was often very frustrated by the uncertainty of it all, but now that I can view it in it's entirety, I can see that it was uncertain only to me.  God knew and I can say with certainty and gratitude, that He does indeed know what He is doing!

This is why I love riding my bike.  Not to get overly sentimental, but these roads  helped me through some  tough days.  I don't think it was coincidence that I was right in the middle of such lovely cycle country, God knew I would need it.

The roads are rough but the countryside is empty and peaceful.
