  This organization provides studio space and instruction to adults with developmental disabilities who want to do art.  Creativity Explored also has a gallery and an online store where these artists with developmental disabilities can sell their work. thereby gaining a livelihood and an income through their art.  Plus, these artists make some of the coolest, cutest art out there.

So, there is an organization here in the Tri-Cites, called Modern Living Services, that wants to create something like this!  I am going to be working with them to see if we can really make it happen. We have a rough plan and we are going to begin fund raising in early December!  So excited!  The first part of the plan is implementing three studio art classes for adults with disabilities.  These classes would last for six weeks, and would end with an exhibit and sale of the artists work.  If this phase is successful, then we will be looking to obtain a space for a gallery and studio.  Anyway, that is the plan in a nut shell.  If you are interested in being involved or would like to donate, let me know!  hee hee!  I will be sharing up dates as soon as I have them!
